BANQUET 25

The biggest WJPZ event ever is taking place on March 6, 2010!  Like any big anniversary, we'll be reminiscing as well as unveiling new surprises!

Returning this year are all your favorites: the Friday Conference, the Secret Box Raffle, and of course the 2nd annual induction of the WJPZ Hall of Fame!

And, as always, we have invited a landmark keynote speaker: Kid Kelly!

Joining Sirius Radio in 1993, Kelly is currently a Vice President of Music Programming for SiriusXM. He's a multi-award-winning industry veteran who previously spent 13 years at Top-40 Pop powerhouse WHTZ (Z100)/New York in various capacities, including Operations Manager, Assistant Program Director and on-air as the No. 1 jock in his timeslot during the late '80s.

Kelly is the creator and host of the weekly syndicated radio program 'Backtrax-USA,' the country's first all '80s weekend music show which is currently heard on approximately 250 stations worldwide. Kelly is officially credited as the first to launch the revival of the '80s phenomenon by the Wall St. Journal and VH1.  He also hosts 'Backtrax-USA: The '90s' which is also currently heard on 150 additional radio stations.

Previously, Kelly was also a radio journalist for Radio & Records, serving as the editor for the Hot AC and AC formats.

Also, a word about our emcee... if you're in the New England area, you might have seen him host "The Batter's Box" on New England Sports Network (NESN), or heard him on the WXLO Morning Show in Worcester, Massachusetts.  Now we're pleased to announce that on Saturday, March 6th, he'll be the emcee of Banquet 25 at the Sheraton!  Steve Donovan '95 has served as the emcee of several banquets in the past (including Banquet 20 and Banquet 24 last year) but none as big as this one.

So what are you waiting for?  Sign up here to make sure that you're part of the biggest event in WJPZ history.  If you pay on or before January 31, 2010, you can save 20% on your ticket.
