Two More Inductees Enter the WJPZ Hall of Fame

Banquet 25 also marks the second induction ceremony of the WJPZ Hall of Fame.  The WJPZ Hall of Fame was established to celebrate those that have had the largest impact on the greatest media classroom in the world, and the communications industry at large.  This year, the Board of Directors and the Alumni Association at large, chose to honor two extraordinary 'JPZers: Chris Bungo ('86) and Hal Rood ('91).

During their respective induction speeches, Chris drove home to students the importance of standing out by taking a surprise pie in the face.  Shortly after, Hal reflected on being innovative on a budget with his story of the "Q Ball", an amoeba of 93Q bumper stickers created when the station offered listeners a free can of Pepsi for every bumper sticker brought to remotes.
