Saturday, September 29th, WJPZ Alumni from across the northeast returned to Syracuse University for Fall Conference VI. With this years' theme- "Getting Ready for the Biz"- the Alumni Association sought to reach beyond the walls of WJPZ to attract students across campus. We're pleased to report that we were visited by a number of non-WJPZ students throughout the course of the afternoon. Sessions were held on marketing and branding, networking, resumes, and leadership and team-building. The program was anchored by Keynote Speaker Pete Diebler, aka Kane, who currently holds down mornings at Hot 99-5 in Washington DC as well as the Sunday night edition of the nationally syndicated Open House Party. Kane's positive message encouraging students to push the envelope in their WJPZ careers was inspiring and was enthusiastically received.
